What a lovely¬†weekend this has been… first of all…I got some much needed¬†helping hands for¬†lugging boxes to the attic and getting things organized…I have a ways to go but I am so lucky this happened as I was beginning¬† feel surrounded by the chaotic state of things…so I am thankful that I finally¬†received some help.¬†¬†

Then¬†Sunday I received an award…from a very¬†lovely lady….sweet Julie…¬†from Nunnies Attic..¬†www.nunniesattic.blogspot.com …she also has a shop so you must stop by and see all¬†the wonderful items that she sells

Now let me tell you about Julie… I just recently met her online and I must say she is the most genuine… for “real” person I have ever met in my life….she said I touched her heart…well if she only knew the profound affect she has had on me…….¬†Julie has made me see so many things in a different perspective through the¬†postings on her blog….. what struck me about¬†her is that every day she is so¬†grateful and thankful for¬†all the¬†ordinary little¬†things in her life…such as laundry because it means¬†she and her family have clothes on their backs… or that she has housework to do because it means she has a roof over her head…so simple… so sincere….I would never have looked at things¬†that way before… shame on me

I try to read her blog every single day because her words¬†inspire me so…¬†its like my fix of coffee every morning… have to have it… have to read her blog…..I immediately¬†grab my cup…park myself in front of the computer¬†and read her wonderful stories…..I love how the internet has enabled us all to reach out to¬†each other¬†for friendship and support…

So I¬†must give this award to some people who have touched my life too…I would love to give it to each and every wonderful friend that I have met through this fabulous new world..however… I must choose a few …¬†so in no particular order¬†I am going to present this award:

3) Jenn¬†and Jacqui…¬†¬†www.thebowerbirdsnest.blogspot.com ¬† …. a mother and daughter team from across the miles in beautiful Australia…they are so so sweet

3) Cat … Lovely Cat¬† …¬†¬†www.shabbychiccatsgardencloseups.blogspot.com ¬†¬†….I feel as if I have known her forever… she¬†leaves me breathless¬†with the lovely photos she takes… you can’t help but see what God has so blessed us with through her eyes¬†along with her¬†talent for the right shot ….an art in itself… who would have thought there was such beauty in the bark of a tree or bear tracks

That¬† being said…on to¬†my wonderful evening of sipping coffee laced with chocolate hazelnut liquor and firing up the outdoor pit in the chilly November air and simply relaxing… something¬†I am finding harder to do these days…it was lovely

And last… my darling daughter sent me these pictures of my “grandbabies”¬†….. I hope you get as much pleasure and laughter out of them as I did…..
