UPDATE…..¬† I AM EXPERIENCING SOME BLOG PROBLEMS WITH POSTING… CAN EDIT WHAT I HAVE BUT HAVING TROUBLE POSTING….¬† HOWEVER…¬† I WILL BE WORKING WITH MY PROGRAMMER TOMORROW MORNING TO GET IT FIXED …..¬† IF I CANT FIGURE OUT WHAT IS WRONG MYSELF….. Now I consider myself one lucky person… I have had the pleasure of receiving an award from two sweet ladies from across the miles… in Australia yet… it amazes me… the wonders of the internet…. that you can strike up such lovely friendships and forge bonds with someone you have never seen… but the feelings of comraderie are so real… I have met many fabulous and creative people this way….

So let me tell you about Jenn and Jacqui…a mother and daughter team who are truly”best” friends…. they are creative…talented …. and oh so friendly…. they give of themselves unconditionally and I hate to say it but this word¬†…”sugar” …sweet describes them to a T …¬†and I mean that in a good way…..¬†¬† visit these¬†ladies at…¬† http://www.thebowerbirdsnest.blogspot.com ¬†…. you will be so glad you did!

Now I don’t know if anyone remembers¬†several weeks ago when¬†I¬†said I was feeling under the weather?… I may have mentioned a sore throat at one time too…. well¬†I just couldn’t get myself up to snuff¬†… started to feel better and then lousy again¬†and¬†today (Sunday) the sore throat came back …. I had tried to ride it out and let my body fight whatever it was I had…. bad move on my part….I dragged myself to the DR today and yep …I am sick….I tested positive for strep throat….¬† so I will be out of comission as far as projects and getting things on my site for about a week….I am not sure that the Christmas items that¬†I had planned and started but did not finish will get done now in time for the Holiday…. Funny how¬†your creative side just doesnt feel like creating when you are down and out….¬†You know when your body tells you it doesnt feel good it means it… LOL…¬† So bear with me and we shall see what happens… I will do my best…. as for posting I will do my best with that too…. sometimes its nice to lose yourself in it and sometimes you try and it doesn’t come to you like it should and you make all kinds of mistakes …. like all the mispellings on other blogger comments pages… jeepers…. I am such a mess!.. That said…. some good news…

UPDATE on my daughters friend with cancer:

The operation was a success…¬† he is out of ICU and they had a special event in which they raised $12,000 for his hospital bills … and to help since he will be out of work for two months …. Amazing how people pull together in times of trouble… How blessed is he to have such wonderful friends….

Makes a heart sing doesn’t it??
