Hey my friends….
Well I got help getting all my plants off the deck ledge… the umbrellas down and brought some of my houseplants inside….. got water… little things to eat if the electricity goes out …..¬†a wet suit to walk the dog in … batteries and lots of lights…. ready just in case we get hit bad …first they say yes … then no … then yes……¬†¬† at least 4-6 inches of rain and 25 mph winds…. enough for me…so I decided I best write this in case my power goes down and maybe a few folks will get to read it BEFORE that happens… I wish lots of love and safeness for everyone in its path…. we come after the Carolinas…..
Now…you remember that fall I had several weeks ago that was caused by a much broken foot….¬† well to make a long story short …. it has been broken for four years…. yes … a very long time and a very long story… which I wont bore you with and cant actually¬†discuss ….as far as details other than to say it was some type of accident that caused it…¬†anyhow there are three broken bones that have to be removed where the ball of your big toe is…..¬†¬†and some very big reasons as to why it was not done before ……but¬†……. I am finally having surgery this Thursday the 11th ….¬† Yay!!!
¬†While the pain will be less severe it will apparently never completely go away…. there was also other news that was not what you would call good …..¬† in¬† other words there will be long term damage ….I wont bore you with¬†all that¬†either….. I am beyond happy that it is actually going to happen….¬†!!!!¬†
I didnt really want to announce it on¬†my blog…..¬†however…¬†¬† I am not sure what shape I will be in as far as blogging…. creating….anything…..¬† I dont want to lose my friends … and with all that has happened lately I have been lax in the blogging department….. and …. I am afraid it will be even more so.for a while so forgive me… and please …I would love to hear from you if you can….¬† little stories or jokes or a laugh or two … a simple hello thinking of you …will help even more and the more support I have the better the healing process…. I have been told at least two or three months recovery time ….¬†¬†so dont forget me or desert me…¬†¬† I will try my best to get around and visit once I am feeling up to snuff a bit…¬†¬† its been a long hard road but I am one “STEP” hehe closer to getting shoes¬†on and walking somewhat better than I did before….
So be happy for me…¬†¬† visit me ….¬† stop by and say hello…. heck you can even cry with me if you want……. I imagine there may be a few tears¬†here and there…..
I have so much exciting news….¬† a surprise or two …..¬†¬† that I will share another time….¬† not sure now about the grand re-opening of my store but we shall see as I¬†“step” along hehe¬† sorry I cant help myself…. oh yes and before I forget…. my hard drive died two days ago and along with it my pictures and documentation was lost…. we are working on trying to recover it….in the mean time….. I have had several people who gave me permission to use some of their photos…. that was lost too…. so if you are one of them would you kindly shoot me an email me with a new permission letter…¬† I have a lot of wonderful sketches I started but the pics are gone…its like starting all¬† over again…. even all of my 575 cedar key photos….¬† now I am going to try and think positive and hope that perhaps they will be recovered….¬† keep your fingers crossed….
